Risk Management Application and Integration (RM A&I) Course

Course Description:
Course provides "how-to' instruction in applying primary and select RM tools and techniques. The integration of RM into on- and off-duty activities is also covered. Discussions on additional RM resources available to the field are presented and class-based scenarios and case studies are conducted.

Eligibility Requirements:
Air Force personnel must obtain class seats through their MAJCOM/DRU/FOA safety office. The course is mandated for personnel serving as formally appointed MAJCOM, wing, or unit-level RM process managers, instructors, or advisors; others requiring more in-depth understanding of RM principles, resources, tools and application should also attend.

Students must either show valid documentation of completion of the ORM Fundamentals Course prior to March 2013 or must complete the AF RM Fundamentals Course before arrival. Official completion certificates will be checked on first day of course. For instructions:

Suggest each student bring at least one example of an RM process or activity at their installation for consideration as a class project.

Rental car recommended. Students may be billeted on the east or west side of base, a minimum of 3 miles to training location & dining facility.

Uniform Requirements:
Military members must attend class in the appropriate uniform and meet dress and appearance standards. ABUs and flight suits are permissible. Civilian members must wear business casual. Shorts, tank tops and athletic sweat suits are examples of inappropriate attire.
